Comprehensify began quite simply - as a small project to help get through assignments quicker.

Like many others, I found it painfully time-consuming having to read large documents when all I needed were small pieces of information - especially when they couldn't be searched for directly, or were scattered across multiple sections.

So I began looking for a better way to do things. I tried using other AI services, but I kept running into two key problems:

• Token/Word limits prevented me from copy-pasting the full document for analysis
• Responses would often include things that came from seemingly nowhere - not from the document

Figuring there had to be a better solution, I began work on a software project to solve these problems, and after finishing a few friends also found success using it. Realizing maybe it could help others too, I built a full interface, made some improvements, and that's how Comprehensify was born!

Although it's quite new, it's exciting to see others use the app. I'm constantly working on new features and improvements, so if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please get in touch - I'd love to hear them!
